 Egypt bans actress from performing in Iranian film |
(AhlulBayt News Agency) - Iran's Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance reported on Wednesday that despite she had signed a contract with the Iranian director, the Egyptian Government did not let her fly to Iran to start filming.
She was summoned to the security department of Egypt, the report said.
Hanan Tork is an Egyptian actress who chose to wear the Islamic head scarf (Hijab) in 2006. Since then, she has faced some restrictions in her career by the Government of Egypt.
