Ahlul Bayt News Agency - The 5^th General Assembly of Ahlul Bayt World Assembly was kicked off in Islamic republic of Iran on Sunday morning, Sep. 11, and will be finished on Wednesday evening Sep. 14 2011.

President Ahmadinejad commenced the four day event as the first lecturer. It went on by several Shia clerics, scholars and professors’ speeches in the evening.

In the second day, the honorable attendees have been divided into six specialized commissions to discuss about their regional issues. The commissions continued until 8 p.m. Iranian president hosted the foreign guests of the 5^th General Assembly of Ahlul Bayt World Assembly for feast at night.

The third day started by three specific commissions on the following topics:

1. Economy

2. Policy and rights

3. Culture

Traveling to holy city of Mashhad and Imam Reza (A.S) pilgrimage ended the third day of the assembly.
