(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - On his first visit to Tunisia, the world renowned Muslim singer Sami Yusuf has given a religious concert in the capital. The event was widely publicized in order to attract Tunisian spectators to the alternative art that has spread in the country after the revolution.

For decades, the Religious singing by Muslim artists was banned in Tunisia but thanks to the Islamic awakening, Sami Yusuf has performed in front of a public that came to enjoy listening to religious songs.

After singing about the Almighty, Islamic values and the family, the artist addressed a message of unity to the Muslims of Tunisia and the world.

At the end of the religious concert, the artist congratulated the Tunisian people for their Revolution that he came to salute and to encourage through faith and creativity.

Thousands have attended the religious concert of Sami Yusuf to promote alternative art and to show that culture is part of the Islamic Awakening.
