(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Activities of Alkafeel annual festival V launched by Al Abbas Holy Shrine in the University of Wasit have been closed. The festival lasted Apr. 29 – May 3, 2012.

Products of the Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs pleased the visitors during the show period. The fair achieved high acceptance among visitors.

Many visitors considered this fair to be unique, for it aims to show the products of the holy shrine via showing the varied products. Visitor had the chance to have a look at these products.

For his part, Dr. Kareem Najm Abd Ali, Dean of the College of Education for the Humanities explained “these festivals and fairs that launched by Al Abbas Holy Shrine achieve many objectives and participate in developing thinking of students about the tenets of the Ahlulbayt AS.

He added: the approach of the holy shrine in communication with universities as being the scientific centres, and the holy shrines to be the centres of spirituality add a positive impact to all people.

Sheik Sattar Al Dilfi, director of the Lady Zaynab Institution, praised the festival and the participation of the Holy Shrine, and its presence, not in this festival only, but in many other festivals including this one that carries the name of (Alkafeel).

Saying: "I admire most of activities of the holy shrine, especially the intellectual and cultural. It is great idea that the holy shrine uses the way to exchange thoughts among people. There are great relations with other establishments and universities for launching fairs".

Mr. Saif Ali Al Sady, the chairman of Net and Computer Lab in Wasit University said "The meetings that the holy shrine hold in all fields; religious, scientific and social show the advanced levels that the holy shrine reached. It is a grant step to share the spring of knowledge, the universities, to show the right path of Ahl al Bayt, AS".

Added: "There are many titles in many fields with cheap prices. This meeting is one of best way of connection with universities".

Students of the university from many colleges and departments were so happy for this great meeting. They thanked the holy shrine for establishing Alkafeel fair. They claimed that the meeting held in advance level.
