(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - “Islam underscores the code of ethics and morality, calling on Muslims to abide by such codes,” said Tabriz Friday Prayer Leader, Ayatollah Mohsen Mojtahed Shabestari.

Speaking in a meeting with officials of National Conference of “Moral politics, political ethics”, held recently in Tabriz Province, Ayatollah Mojtahed Shabestari said, “The wave of Islamism was started many years ago and the spread of Islamic Awakening or even the emergence of Justice Movements reflects the attention of people around the world to the ideals and goals of Islam.”

“Despite of negative western propaganda, Islam is the religion of peace and morality,” said Ayatollah Mojtahed Shabestari.

“The divine religion of Islam has been spread around the world,” underlined Ayatollah Mojtahed Shabestari stating that more and more people are getting familiar with the real picture of this religion.

The Secretary of the Scientific Committee of the Seminar, Akbar Mahdi Zadeh announced that the committee has published 80 articles so far in the realms of ethical policy, morality and ethics in politics and the perspectives of ethical policy in domestic and foreign policy.
