(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Plans are underway for holding the fifth edition of Kazan national exhibition of Islamic books and literature on June 7, in the Republic of Tatarstan.

The five-day event will be organized by the Office for Muslims’ Religious Affairs of the country.

About 25 Islamic Publishing Companies from Nizhny Novgorod, Nizhny Kamsk, Saint Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Moscow, Kazan, Ufa, the Republic of Bashkortostan and Makhachkala, the Republic of Dagestan will present their works at the exhibition.

Dissemination of information as to new Islamic Publishing Houses and literature in Russia will be the main objective of staging the exhibit.

It will run until June 11.

The capital city of Kazan has hosted the annual event since 2009.
