(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - A story posted on a website reported that around 200 people demonstrated in “Nicholas Andrew” neighborhood in Torrent city, Spain against moving the mosque to a vaster place in St. Ernesto Str., objecting on the presence of the mosque in the city.
The demonstration started at 7:20 p.m. from Therbantes street station, and the demonstrators held the flag of Spain and tens of flags of Espa?a 2000 Party (a far-right extremist party). Moreover, the leaders of the said party held posters against the mosque.
It is worth mentioning that during the demonstration activists from the party and the dwellers of the neighborhood distributed flyers that include messages, such as: “O Spaniards, defend your homeland”, “Defend Torrent” and “Less mosques more work”.
