(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - “The increase of sacrilegious act against the holy concepts and Islamic figures are the consequences of modernism,” head of Inspiration and Wisdom Institution, Hojjatol Islam Ali Nasiri, said.

The Islamic scholar underlined, “Ahlalbayt [household of holy prophet] and our religious Imams advised Muslims to make their children familiar with their culture before they take the detour.”

He pointed to the recent sacrilegious act that one of the Iranian singers, Shahin Najafi, committed against Imam Hadi (PBUH) and said,” Muslims should be literally cognizant and active against such anti-Islamic movements.”

“We should be able to make and disseminate the Islamic culture and introduce our holy faces to the youth, “said Hojjatol Islam Nasiri stating that through using this method all the problems will be solved.

“Modernity is a double-edged sword, one side of it is refers to the forming the global village which paves the way for exchanging knowledge,” said the Islamic scholar adding that from the other side such condition and also the increasing the mass media such as Satellite, Mobile and etc… can have some negative effects and consequences on our culture.

“Modernity from this negative side, tarnishes the holy faces and Islamic concepts and dares to mock Islam prophets (PBUH),” the cleric pointed out.

“For solving this problem, the first step is to recognize the negative and positive consequences of modernity,” said Hojjatol Islam Nasiri pointing to the second step which is keeping our youth safe against these damages by using tack and logic.
