(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Thousands of Palestinians have burned the US flag in front of the United Nations headquarters in Gaza City during a demonstration against a movie insulting Islam.

The sacrilegious film made by an Israeli-American Sam Bacile has sparked anti-US protests in many countries, including Libya, Egypt, Sudan and Tunisia

The anti-Islam movie insults Islam’s Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

The US ambassador to Libya Christopher Stevens and three other Americans were killed in an attack on the US consulate in Benghazi over the US-produced sacrilegious film.

Protesters against the anti-Islam film also attacked the US embassy in Cairo on Tuesday night.

There are also reports of protest near the US embassies in Sudan and Morocco.

According to the Wall Street Journal, the blasphemous movie is called "Innocence of Muslims".

Bacile, 52, is a real estate developer living in southern California and a sworn enemy of Islam.

The report added that, Bacile has assumed responsibility for the film, which he said was made thanks to Jewish donations totaling USD 5 million.
